Week 7 Muddiest Point

In class you discussed whether or not websites we access using a neighbor's wireless connection detect our IP or our neighbor's. I didn't quite catch what the answer was. It's not for me, I have this friend who was wondering, ok?

when you use that network, indeed it is the neighbor paying for the network connection for you. Also usually if anything happen, it is the neighbor who would in trouble

however, if the neighbor is mean, he can use this situation to monitor the internet traffic of your friend's and know where he visited and downloaded. So your friend is running a risk too.
